About Brian Shaw
Throughout the 1980s and 90s Brian Shaw was responsible for the presentation of some of Britain’s most successful concert tours. Legends of the day Freddie Starr, The Shadows, Michael Barrymore, Lenny Henry, Leo Sayer, Les Dawson, Elkie Brooks, Danny La Rue, The Black & White Minstrels, Larry Grayson and Hale & Pace all toured extensively under his banner.
In the early eighties Brian was responsible for transforming the British Summer Season with the introduction of his revolutionary Season of The Stars format which, for the first time, saw many of the most recognisable stars of the day including many of the aforementioned along with Les Dawson, Lena Zavaroni, Tommy Cooper, Cannon & Ball, and Matt Munro abandoned the traditional resident season in favour of a rotating tour format where resort venues could enjoy a new attraction every week.
The office developed into one of the premier concert promotions companies in the UK, also expanding into cruise ship operation on three continents with offices in America and Scandinavia.
The office remains as busy today as ever, representing a number of exclusive clients including Jim Davidson, Jane McDonald, Des O’Connor, Richard Digance, Roy Walker and Jimmy Jones as well as being responsible for the programming of several top theatres including The Britannia Theatre Great Yarmouth and Pavilion Theatre Weymouth.
Meet the Team
Brian enjoys a wealth of experience in the industry, having presented litterally thousands of major celebrity concerts over nearly four decades and still heads the company he founded in 1979.
Joined the company in 2007 straight from graduating university. Along with Brian, Gareth is responsible for the booking of concert dates and tours for our exclusive clients and venues
Helen joined the company in 2005 and is the Office Manager. She is responsible for the general administration, finance and book-keeping
Katie joined the company in early 2011. Working closely with Brian and Gareth, she is the first point of contact for most clients and venues. She is heavily involved in all aspects of the company's design and marketing.
Maria joined the company in 2005. Her duties include the collating and monitoring of sales patterns and revenue as well as the general duties associated with a busy office.
